Aswathy is a new-generation girl and something she mentions in her new novel, titled The Murmuring Sky, invites controversy. She gets criticised for it from many circuits, prompting her to end her life.”
The film also has veteran actress Shanthi Krishna appearing as a lawyer and Renji Panicker as a public prosecutor. Sreenath explains, “The story of this film isn’t solely based on any particular character. What it focuses on is how in the contemporary Malayali life, abetment to suicide can happen due to insistence on following customs and how the court looks at it. That’s why it’s named Section 306 IPC.” The film also has Merina Micheal playing a major character.
